This weekend, Sherfield English Women take on Fleet Spurs Women in the Junior Cup!

Fleet Spurs currently play in Division 7 and have made a fantastic start to their season, winning all three of their opening games.

We know it’s going to be a tough test for the ladies, but it’s one we’re more than ready for! We’re looking forward to getting out there, giving it everything and seeing what we can do.

We’re also looking forward to welcoming Fleet Spurs Women to Sherfield English and hope you can get down and support the ladies!

Disappointed not to win last match of season, but....

The final match of a season has now become a regular event with a visit to Highcliffe Bowls Club.

We thank Highcliffe for their hospitality and for giving us a competitive game.

Unfortunately we were unable to return home with a final win for the season.

Overall we’ve won 70% of our local matches this seasonWell done Sherfield English!

Final Result: Highcliffe 123 - 88 Sherfield English

Rink 1:            Draw 18 – 18            Trailing by 6 at the halfway stage, Sherfield showed resistance to share the match. Well done Bernie, Cathy, Jenny H & Launa

Rink 2:            Lost 8 – 24   All fell apart in the second half

Rink 3:            Lost 17 - 19. Close game throughout

Rink 4:            Lost 10 - 25. Never in the match

Rink 5:            Lost 17 – 24 Always playing catch up

Rink 6:            Won 18 - 13  Superb hard earned victory by Gillian, Jenny M & Shirley. Congratulations!
