Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Declaration of the end of a Protection Zone and revocation of the Surveillance Zone near Romsey, Test Valley, Hampshire centred on grid reference SU2781422562 (Avian Influenza)

1) The Secretary of State makes this declaration to end the Protection Zone and revoke the Surveillance Zone that came into force at 19.00 on 30 December 2021 in accordance with articles 4(1)(e) and 36(1), (2) and (3) of the Avian Influenza and Influenza of Avian Origin in Mammals (England) (No 2) Order 20061 (as amended) (“the Order”).

2) The ending of the Protection Zone and the revocation of the Surveillance Zone takes effect from 09.30 on 5 February 2022, thereby ending the measures imposed in the 3 km Protection Zone and 10 kilometre Surveillance Zone in England, centred on grid reference SU2781422562 declared on 30 December 2021.
