Pensioners’ Christmas Lunch

We are delighted to invite all our pensioners to join us for our Christmas Lunch.

Tickets are £15 per person, with any profit from the event being donated to charity.

There will also be a raffle.

You are very welcome to bring your own alcohol if you wish — glasses will be provided.

We had such a lovely time last year and are really looking forward to seeing everyone again and getting into the Christmas spirit together!

Village Hall Draw & Open Studios 2026

This August Bank Holiday our lovely art group The VILLAGE HALL DRAW took part in Hampshire Open Studios at our beloved Sherfield English Village Hall for the very first time and what a fabulous exhibition it was! I am very proud of every one who has come along over the four years I have been running the group. Many joined nervously having not drawn since school but together they have enthusiastically been covered in charcoal, drawn with the wrong hand, spilled coffee over their work, used all the materials all at once, stuck things, stitched things, printed, bleached and ripped things until they have found their own ways and their own beautiful voices to sing with. They have blossomed and in this Open Studios have come together and made something they can ALL be so very proud of.

Massive thanks to Ursula and Bev for running the kitchen so sleekly! If anyone would like to join us we meet from 9.30 to 12.30 on Fridays at the village hall. £20 a session with all materials and biscuits supplied. We welcome you!
