SE Bowls Club - Another Win! 27/05/26

Sherfield hosted Totton & Eling on a beautiful sunny afternoon.

Due to the heat, the match was shortened by 4 ends.

Totton found the grassy green difficult to read, their surface is artificial and smooth.

Sherfield soon got into their stride and won the match by 3 rinks to 2 with a score of 69 - 51 in their favour.

Final Result:

Rink 2:   Lost             10 – 11           A close contest going through to the final end.

Rink 3:   Won            14 - 11            Hard fought win after being behind 4 ends to go.

Rink 4:   Lost             5 - 16              Difficult match, losing the last 7 ends.  

Rink 5:   Won            15 - 10            Always comfortable, in control throughout.

Rink 6:   Won            26 - 3.             Performance of the day, an emphatic win.
