Football 5/6 September WEEKEND ROUND UP

This weekend was a mixed one across the weekend as all 4 clubs kickstarted there campaigns.

FIRSTS- The 1st hosted well drilled, well organised Upham FC at home. A questionable penalty, plus 2 other goals see us 3-0 down inside 15. We regrouped created chances which ultimately weren’t taken. Congratulations to Upham.

Sponsored player Connor Gardner was our MOTM earning MW Southcoast Coaching a shout out in game day 1. Have a feeling it’ll be the 1st of many this season!

RESERVES- The ressies travelled away from home in an early KO against St Francis Reserves. Having gone a goal behind, Kevin Stone ensured his lads wouldn’t walk away with defeat. 2 well taken goals from Paul Crook on his debut for the club! Finally firing Paul, well done buddy.

SUNDAYS - The newly formed Sunday side kickstarted there campaign as they hosted Chandlers Ford in Div 3. 4-1 Winners, goals coming from Joe Biffin who bagged 2, Luke Biffin and CC ment the Sunday side started exactly how Gaffa Paul Wheeler would have wanted them too.

LADIES - SEWFC travelled half way across the forest to Lymington who may we add played unbelievable, took the chances they created and didn’t take the foot off the gas. The ladies created chances but again could convert. After a very good tough pre season, I have no doubt they’ll bounce back next week and walk away with points!
