I am writing this in the afternoon following the Harvest and Farewell service

for me in September. It was a lovely occasion and thank you to all who

came and shared that time together. It's hard to believe that Chris and I

arrived in the benefice nearly ten years ago and although, as you know,

these past eighteen months have been tough for us all and for me, with

losing Chris. Even so I am so glad that I came to be with you, as the time

has been a very positive experience. I have enjoyed the fun of all the

different social events, from quizzes to concerts to "woollen woods" as well

as the more solemn times. It has been a privilege to share ministry with

you, and I have been pleased to get to know families for baptisms and

weddings, as well as funerals. Thank you all. I am moving to Winchester so

won't be far away. You will remain in my thoughts and prayers. God bless
