'Tatty' is Back!

Village History

‘Tatty’ has returned to their birth place at the village hall after being on display in Romsey since August 2025.

We thank Malcolm & Diane for letting Tatty lodge in their Shop window at PhotoFlair to join in with the Romsey Summer Community Bollard Art Project and then stay a little longer to proudly represent our Sherfield English Community.

Tatty can be explored at the village hall whenever you visit.  Please flip through the amazing mixture of tatters depicting life in Sherfield English now and then!

It would be great if we could get a history group together to start documenting and preserving some of our local history for all to enjoy.  Ideally we’d re-do the history display board in the village hall but we just need more volunteers!
