SERP December 2025

We would like to thank everyone for their support at the recent fireworks event. We run the event both to raise funds for our small charity and as a community event for our parish. We seem, however, to be gaining fame as we had visitors from both London and Gosport! The weather was kind to us which is crucial to making the event a success and we received excellent reviews of the fireworks themselves. The whole event was a great success, and we must thank our hardworking committee team who make it all possible.

We have booked Pyrotastic for Sunday November 1st 2026 which is a date for your calendars.

News from the Pavilion

The first part of the football pitches drainage improvements has taken place and now waiting for suitable weather to complete the largest part of the work. In the meantime, both men's teams are playing well and starting to make a name for themselves and the ladies team is making fabulous progress. We are all very proud of their efforts and how they represent the village. Please take the time to turn out each Saturday afternoon for the men's games and on Sunday afternoons when the ladies team is at home. Cheers from the side-lines make all the difference. Sherfield English Netball Club is managed by the lovely Helen Stockting. Roll up games are available on both Monday and Wednesday evenings for all levels. Pending the last few formalities, we will be hosting cricket at the playing field in the summer of 2026! We are delighted to see the facilities get even more use.

SERP2000, our committee, helpers and sports teams would like to wish everyone a merry and peaceful holiday season.
